At this time, the search function for the Finale forum does not work correctly. Until the new Finale forum is available, the following method will work for searching forum topics:

Go to google.com and enter "site:forum.makemusic.com" (without quotes) followed by a space or a plus sign (+) then the words you are searching for. An example search might look like this: site:forum.makemusic.com + nested tuplets

OK, Mac OSX Mavericks. PrintMusic 2014. The tech guy at Finale refused to answer my question.
I want to make some of my own templates. Save as template is not available, but the tech guy did say that there is a way to do it.

Can anyone please help?

Thank you

Sure. Create the document the way you want it, and put it in the templates folder. Unlike windows, it doesn't have to be saved in a "template" format.

And I followed up on this. The PrintMusic manual says nothing about creating templates. In fact, the Finale (for Mac) manual says almost nothing, and what it says is WRONG. it refers to saving the file as an FTM, which is not done on the Mac.

Thanks dude, how could they have left that out and then not have it on list that the tech support people can answer.
It's one of those things that is really easy once you know how to do it, but figuring it out is impossible.

Again thanks
