E.g.,
1. This is my verse 1 2. And_____ verse 2 3. Verse 3 goes___ here
Entering the numbering directly into the lyric flow gets a bit ugly and needs to be tweeked each time your leading measure shifts.
I know that you can take text boxes and manually paste numbers at the beginning of each system, but the alignment goes goofy if you start moving system locations around.

However, what's wrong with entering them in the lyrics? You can select all the handles of the first syllable of each verse, right click, and choose alignment and justification options. With this process, you should be able to get what you want. If you create a sample file with the ugly look, and a description of how you would like it to look, I'm sure the steps could be outlined.

The expression or text block methods require lots of moving around, but "1. [hard space] This is my lyric" is one Adjust Syllable push away. | Back to Top | | Forum Information | Currently it is Tuesday, December 19, 2023 8:05 PM (GMT -6) There are a total of 403,820 posts in 58,165 threads.
