Has anyone ever had any joy using a software based virtual midi keyboard with Finale?  I suspect the answer is no.  I just did a test with the speedy entry tool and MidiYoke connected to Bone's Mouse Keyboard and this didn't seem to work.  I have heard tell that this kind of setup works well with Propellerheads Reason 4 and with Cubase.  I guess part of the problem may be to do with scorewriters needing the window focus  + a problem with midi note buffering - but I could be off track with that thought.

Be curious to know if anyone has had any success with this.

Thanks

Simon,
I just took a look at Bome's site, (which I had never heard of previously) - interesting little device, especially since it's only US $27 !!
I'll keep watching your post just to see what develops.
Cheers
