(Finale 2012, Windows )

See attached image -- I'm trying to replicate (and maybe, make just a little prettier) the roll notation used in this piece for solo marimba.
1) The slashes are no problem, obviously.
2) The one-handed roll in the 3rd bar has a squished, slanted O
3) The ripple roll in the last two bars are kind of a stylized S...but I'd like something a little more squished from left-to-right.

Any recommendations on font/style/size? Or a library out there? (I am not concerned about playback at all)
Thanks for any help!

I'll try bumping this up with a more general question.

How do I add a custom articulation marking that looks like a squished, slanted O? (Finale 2012) I've tried drawing this kind of thing in the shape designer, but let's face it, the shape designer is pretty limited in the types of shapes it can design...

Thank you for any help!

Where did you get this sample?

The image? It's scanned from a published (printed) score. (Michael Burritt - "Caritas," published by Keyboard Percussion Publications)
