Difficult bit here: my soundcard, worseluck, is one of those VIA things.......part of the chipset.
So, I cannot use any of Creative's Soundfont facilities, such as Vienna, to manipulate or even
construct banks for myself.
Although the Softsynth sf2 file works
fine (nice Altosax), I would like to add a better clarinet sound. In Creative you can do this
by using it as Bank2 . Is it possible to load one soundfont(sf2) "on top" of another in Allegro 2005?

Does the Bank column in the Instrument lists dialogue have a practical use if one is stuck with
rather naff VIA sound?
I would put in a Creative card, but there seem to be several difficulties associated with this.
THanks again,
Tony.

Hi Tony,

I think you would have more luck posting to the Windows forum. This is an area devoted to the FinaleScript plug-in only.

Thanks
Robert
