Hi, everyone. I was wondering is there a way to create a cross staff tremolo in finale 2012.

Yes, there is a way.

You can do it yourself (manually).
I suppose that you know how to create cross staff notation (?),
- and how to create tremolo (?).

But you can also work smarter, and use the two plug-ins.

The two plug-ins are:
Plug-ins menu > TG Tools > Cross Staff… *)
Plug-ins menu > TG Tools > Easy Tremolos…

*) For the Cross Staff plug-in there is even a handy keyboard shortcut.
Select the desired beat(s) that should go to the other staff, hold down the correct modifier key (Ctrl or Alt, I do not remember), and hit the DownArrow key or the UpArrow key.

You can run the Cross Staff plug-in first, and then the Easy Tremolos plug-in.
Or you can run the Easy Tremolos plug-in first, and then the Cross Staff plug-in.

Personally I prefer the latter order (= first tremolo, then cross staff).
Try both orders - and see what you prefer!

Also, the cross-staff hot keys don't seem to work with the last note in this measure (it can be done instead with a split point, though). Always discouraging when you try something you rarely use and discover a bug immediately!

We might need to see your file to find what's up. I don't have trouble on the last note of a measure.

Attached. I can't move the last A down by highlighting it and pressing Alt+Down. I did the other 3 that way.

But I'm guessing the O.P. wants to have tremolos that appear as two half notes with several beams between.

I was able to do it in my system. I have TGTools Lite only. Maybe the full TGTools has the issue.

After verifying that Alt-Down didn't work on the last note, I ran the Lite plug-in from the dialog instead and it moved the note. I put it back and rain the Full plug-in dialog and it also worked. I then tried Alt-Down again and it now works! So I unstuck something.

Peter's method now works for me (Cross staff didn't work on the "half note" tremolos before).
