It's easy to reduce just the noteheads to a smaller point size AFTER entry, using Jari's Change plug-in. What, though, is the easiest way to make the default music font for a file Engraver with 23 point noteheads but 24 point for the other note elements? I don't mind doing it after entry with Jari's Change plug-in, but I was wondering…

Also, can one have different notehead point sizes in the score and in the linked parts (say 24 in a multi-stave full score with rather small staves and 23 or possibly even 22 in the parts)?

I can think of workarounds, but…

Document Options > Fonts > Notation: Noteheads

Set the default notehead font to Engraver 23.

However, the default notehead font size will be used both in the score and in the linked parts.

:) I just sent you a message, some seconds ago!

I think anyway that Engraver at 22 almost matches Maestro 24 (in visibility).

Peter

Can't be applied a staff style with different noteheads sizes and even fonts?

A Staff Style can change the size of the notehead.

I think it is introduced in version 2014 - if anyone can confirm. You could just choose another font file, but not size in older versions, correct?

2011 could do it. I think 2005 was able to do it.
