I've often had the experience of wanting to open a piece I want to print, but then realizing that the computer I'm on doesn't have Finale on it.The simple answer to this would be "Get Finale Viewer as a portable app on your USB drive"

Unfortunately, I cannot find this miracle hosted anywhere. Any help would be appreciated.

The "solution" is to always make PDF file copies of your Finale files using a virtual printer driver. Essentially it can then become a "backup" retrievalble, even without Finale, using the MusicXML file saving option with the program "PDFtoMusic Pro" from Myriad-online.com.
