Does anyone know how to insert Chinese
characters from the Apple Language kit
into a finale document?

I have not tried Chinese, but I was able to enter
Korean, which implies that it ought to be possible.
The big problem is that Finale is just not very
UniCode compatible, and sometimes kicks and
screams and holds its breath if you ask it to do
anything that seems totally logical to those of us
who can write in more than one language.
Right now I am trying to remember exactly HOW I
did it - I wanted to enter the Korean text to the
South Korean National Anthem, and somehow I
managed.
