For those needing to locate the Finale 25 preference file, it is no longer called what you might expect, i.e. 'Finale 25 Preferences', but 'com.makemusic.finale.fprf' which puts it quite a distance away from the older Finale preference files and makes it easy to miss. I already needed to delete and recreate it.

Note that there is a button the Preferences dialog to Reset all the settings. The .fprf file is a text-based XML file, so hopefully should be more stable than previously.

I know that but, as I remarked in another thread, you have to be able to get to the Preferences dialog to be able to perform the reset. The only time I've needed to reset the preferences (by deleting the preferences file) in the past was when Finale wouldn't start up at all.
