Date Joined Nov 2008 Total Posts : 3 | Posted 11/5/2008 12:59 AM (GMT -6) | | Sorry, the MIDI cable does not carry the analog sound from the guitar. MIDI is a control signal to send information from one piece of musical equipment to another.
If your computer has a "line in" (usually the blue connector) you may be able to plug the guitar in there. You will need an adapter to do that.
You are going to be much better off just buying a cheap guitar amp
