I don't know what's happened to my libraries. There is very little in the expressions library. Should I be dropping and dragging libraries from previous versions.
I've never had to do this before after an upgrade.

… There is very little in the expressions library …

Your words “THE expressions library” sound like the Libraries folder only contains a single expressions library. Is that correct?

In my Libraries folder there are several sub-folders, like e. g. Broadway Copyist Font, Engraver Font, Jazz Font, Maestro Font.
Many of them contain expressions libraries.

What, exactly, do you see in the Libraries folder?

The first time you select "Load Library", Finale will populate the Library folder with the .lib files.

If you look in the folder in the Finder before that, then yes, it might be empty.

All true thanks. I found out that I had to adjust the Finale preference settings to tell Finale where the expressions and other libraries were located. Then I found the individual folders in the expressions dialogue box were empty. Everything was in one place and had to be moved to the correct folder. Seems like a waste of time since I did that before (a few times) in previous versions.
Mmmmm.

Mmmmm.

I've never had to do this. By default, Finale points to the user library folders, and should automatically populate them. If that's not happening, and your installation isn't configured differently, then I would report it to MM.
