Hello all,

I'm finishing up orchestrating a ballet of mine and I'm running into an odd problem. When I'm working in the Text Expression Designer and have an expression that has more than one line, the Justification tools are greyed out. Any ideas on why this is and how I can get it working again? Thanks!

I mostly use 2003 and earlier, but I just gave it a try in 2004 (I don't have 2005 yet). I can't access the justification either, so maybe it isn't supposed to work. It is possible that it may only work if other settings are set a certain way, but I don't know for sure.

One alternative would be to use a measure-attached text block. If you were counting on playback features for the expression, you could make one that just has playback functions, but leave the text blank, and it won't show in the printout.

I don't have a Justification setting in the PC version of Finale 2005b. At least, not in the text expression designer. I do have that in the Text Tool. I would follow migman's advice and use that instead.
