Just in case you've never been an IK-Multimedia user, 64-bit Sampletank 3 VST instruments are not supported in Finale 2014 while 32-bit Sampletank 2.x are. I have downloaded and tried this new Finale 25 version, and it behaves the other way round: 64-bit Sampletank 3 VST instruments are available while 32-bit are not... (It wouldn't be a problem to scrap the 32-bit version for good if all the samples of the 64-bit version were better. Strange as it may seem, many instruments of the older Sampletank sound more realistic, so I combine both synths in my work).
Has anybody faced the same problem? Is it a IK-Multimedia 32-bit compatibilty bug, or just something wrong with my particular installation of this new Finale 25? As far as I am concerned, both 32-bit and 64-bit VST should be supported by Finale 25, right? | Back to Top | |

I've only used it in Cubase, though, no problems there. Finale 3.7 - 2014.5, GPO4/5, Dorico, Cubase, ProTools, ASUS laptop, Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, WIN 8.1 (64-bit), 18.4'' display, M-Audio Keystation 49 + Mini 32 keyboards | Back to Top | | Forum Information | Currently it is Tuesday, December 19, 2023 6:42 PM (GMT -6) There are a total of 403,820 posts in 58,165 threads.
