Date Joined Jan 1999 Total Posts : 406 | Posted 2/25/2005 5:57 AM (GMT -6) | | Assuming you're using Windows, I think that you are supposed to hold down the alt key, and then press the four digits on the numeric keypad, e.g. to get the character Ï I held down alt and then typed 0199 on the keypad.
Also if you are using this method, you might want to ensure you have the Maestro font selected.
Much better is to use the Engraver Font Text T font to create the metronome markings. Select Expressions, click create, select the font and font size via the menu at the top, then type "q=120" to get a crotchet(quarter-note) = 120 marking. You'll find it's much easier on the eye, and you don't have to remember obscure keystrokes to get it. | Back to Top | |
