It seems that Sierra has an updated version of Java that 2104.5 doesn't recognize. Anyone found a work around?

When Oracle bought SUN, Apple was no longer allowed to distribute Java with the OS beginning with Mavericks. You have to get Java 8 from Oracle but it is 64bit only. Java 6 supports 32bit apps such as Finale 2014.5 and earlier.
