Every time I start a new document, I program key board equivalents for the Master Tool Palette tools I use most frequently. I would like to be able to write a script for these to speed up the process. I have been unsuccessful so far.

Keith,
When you say that you "program key board equivalents for the Master Tool Palette tools I use most frequently" are you referring to the assignments made via control-option-(F,G,H, J, K, L,;, or ')? These are saved with the document so you can save yourself the trouble of doing this for each file by setting them once in your templates and saving them. Otherwise, can you be more specific about what equivalents you are setting and how you do this each time?
