I've just started playing with the new tapered dashed slurs in Finale 25 and so far they look pretty good. What I'm wondering, though, is since they are an entirely new smart shape and existing dashed slurs import in Fin 25 unchanged (i.e., non-tapered), is there a way to globally substitute one smart shape category for another, hopefully preserving any manual adjustments? I don't see anything under Smart Shapes->Options or Utilities->Change that seems to apply.

I have lots of pre-Fin 25 files with many dashed slurs that I would like to convert, but not if I have to replace each dashed slur manually.

If Jari updates his JW Change plugin, you might be in luck. In 2014.5, there is a feature for changing slurs to dashed curves and back. I imagine, when Jari gets the Change plugin updated, this can be done.

There are two Windows 64-bit plugins, dated 9 August, but no Mac ones.

Poor Jari, with so much expectation and so much work to do, he really should charge a couple of Euro for each one.
