Dear All,
Has anyone ever heard there were plug-ins to convert NOTEWORTHY and/or MUSICATOR native files into our loved Finale?
I was recently sent some files in these formats and rather than starting from the scratch, I'm trying to see the alternatives.
Thanks a lot,
Jari E.

If Noteworthy or Musicator supported MusicXML, you could export a MusicXML file and then import it into Finale. But I don't think either program does this yet. Please let these companies know that you would like their programs to read and write MusicXML files so you can share music with other programs like Finale.
Your best bet may be to print the music, scan it in with a program like SharpEye Music Reader that produces MusicXML, and import the results into Finale.
More information on MusicXML software such as SharpEye and our Dolet plug-in is available at:

Michael --
thanks, I never realized how powerful (your) MusicXML is. Very impressive. Certainly will try.
Best,
