This is the first time I have experienced a corrupted
file. While I was working I tried to save and got a
message the Finale was having trouble saving the
file. I tried Save As, nothing worked so I closed the
file. When I try to open I get a message that Finale
reports and error I-8 whenever I try to open it. Its
possible I may have gone too long without saving, I
seem to remember I may have done a lot of small
edits without saving. I can do this file over again,
it's not that large, but maybe someone can open it.

Please ignore the bottom of the two files I uploaded,
I didn't read the dialog carefully.

Hi, I am sorry : I got the same error
message. It seems indeed corrupted
although the structure of the file seems to
be ok.

I had no problem open it (off course I had
to change the fonts). Saving it and
sending it back to you. Oohps! Just
realized you are using 2001. Will send
you a new one.

Couldn´t open it in 2001. Got the same
message. Opened without problems in
2002.

I, too, was able to open it in 2002 without
problem; excepting fonts.

Thanks everyone for your help. Odd that it opens in
2002 and not 2001. I don't even own a copy of
2002. I guess this is my cue to upgrade. Even if FX
(Finale OS10) comes out shortly it usually takes a
while to iron all the bugs out so I'l be right on
schedule.
