I am planning to implement SmartMusic in our middle school orchestra program for next year, but I am running into funding issues. I am looking for grants to write to help fund the program. Does anyone know of any specific grants that would pertain to SmartMusic? I have checked out a lot of the general grant sites, but am having a hard time finding ones that would work for SmartMusic. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for posting. Have you had a chance to look at our Resource Center, http://www.smartmusic.com/Educators/Resources/Default.aspx? The last section covers Research and Grants. Hopefully this will be able to get you started in the right direction.

I have looked at that sight and it is full of options that are really broad. I was hoping to save some time in finding out if there were specific grants that I should be looking for, ones that would be a good fit for Smartmusic. I am also interested in finding out if anyone had ever written a grant for Smartmusic so I could see what it might look like.

McDonalds Mini-grants are good ones....I don't know if your McDonalds do that in your area or not.  $500 can get you started. :)
