Keyboard:  Yamaha P-90

Compute:  Dell Dimension PC

Sound Card:  SoundMAX Digital Audio

 

All hardware and software is new.

 

Sound card is functional, produces other sounds (system, CD's etc).   USB Device has been installed correctly and is operational per the computer's Device Manager.  P-90 is functonal, plays and produces sounds normally.  Cables are connected properly on both ends of the cable and have indicator lights on it for USB operation and MIDI IN.  USB port is functional as it is used to transfer photos etc. and functions normally.  Also have re-booted the system and tried multiple times to get the system to work.  Manual entry of notes, not using MIDI, operates normally.

 

MIDI Setup indicates that no MIDI IN device is available evn though I have re-installed the driver for it several times.  Test of system per Print Music produces quarter note rests, no sound, no notes.

I have been through all Troubleshooting steps for Print Music and the MIDIsport UNO without resolution.
