You could use the Exercise Wizard in Finale to generate your own. You could check the Finale Showcase for piano files as well.

THanks much. I did this. It's a bit of trouble to convert .MUS files to .FPA (especially if the author has been diligent about articulations and repeats) but it works.

Next question: FPA does not seem to move fast enough--that is, when it gets to the end of a set of measures, it doesn't display the next set, or the next page until the actual beat. This is too late for the student to be on time. What can be done? I've tried reducing the size as much as possible, but if it's a 2 page peice, that still doesn't work.
Thanks in advance.

That doesn't sound like the latest version of FPA. I believe there's an update you can download from the support >> downloads section at www.finalemusic.com.

I believe it was in this 1.1 version that they added the function of showing the next line... what it does is show the next line at the TOP of the page, separated by a divider line. It only updates and shows this after you've reached the bottom half of the page. It takes a little getting used to, but it actually works really well.

Is there any way to purchase FPA (Finale Performance Assessment) separately from Finale.  I wouldike my students to purchase it at a reasonable cost and then I could send them or give them on CD the assignments.   Many of my students would respond well to this.

THanks again.

;-)

FPA is actually a free program. Your students can download it for free, or you can download it, copy it onto CD and give it to them. You can download it from www.finalemusic.com.
