I sent some 2k2b files to Japan, and they
are having trouble with them. Is there a
different version of Finale designed for
Japan? Is 2002 available in Japan?

They can always download Finale
Notepad and should be able to open the
file that way.

Notepad would help if all they wanted to do was
print, but I think they need to do some major
editing to meet the needs of their market. The
question remains:
1) Is Finale 2002 available in Japan?
2) Is their version the same as mine (not in
Japanese, for example)?
3) When would they be able to open my
documents if the answer to the above is no?
