With the GM of Sierra, there are two issues I'm finding that were not present in F25 previously (under El Capitan):
1. Toolbar icons disappear if the toolbar is stretched at all
2. The startup window never has any older files nor does open Recent display anything

I had this when I up-dated from OS 10.9 to 10.11 (using F 2014.5). When I fiddled with the settings in System Preferences it came back. Perhaps the same with 10.12?

Which preferences? I'm not seeing any fixes that are obvious and have not had that happen before when changing OS versions and using Finale.

I would contact Make Music and let them know what you've found. However, the new OS hasn't been officially released, has it? Might be worth seeing if these persist once the official version is installed.

Isn't that the purpose of this forum in some ways, since MakeMusic folks do look at them? I did shoot a PM to someone but have not yet heard back.

The OS is being released on the 20th. This is the GM. Any differences with the release version will not be significant nor likely to impact Finale.

This one (see screenshot). Not until I had made it first 'none' and then back to '20' did it take effect in Finale after that particular up-date. This had not happened before, but applied on two different computers. It's just an idea, and may have nothing at all to do with your problem.

Does it populate if you select the Recent menu a second time?

No. That used to work during the beta testing phase, but no longer, at least for me. Bigger issue is the toolbar...

Make Music has always requested that customers contact them directly, thru Tech Support. They may or may not pay attention to discussions in this forum. Sad, but true.

I did. But surprised they don't peruse this forum. Thanks.
