I searched the entire site for a video (or two) about MicNotator and found nothing. Does anyone out there use MicNotator on a regular basis? I need to know how accurate it is and if I can use my good quality studio mic through my PreSonus FireBox (the set up I use for recording audio) and expect good results.

I think it is next to useless. In fact, you will proably spend more time trying to undo that which is not correct notation. What instrument are you using to play the notes?

I think it is pretty useless. Maybe for some songs like "little little bird" or even simpler like "little little mosquito".

However there are some software for pitch recognition, usually made at the universities as an open source software. But it is more towards programming or so. I don't use it so I can't give you exact name but some of my colleagues use it.
