I have done this before but the notes were all on the same line. This time, I am tying a eight note (that is the last note of this line (system) ) onto a dotted half note (which is the first note in the next line (system) ). I have tried everything but I cannot get the 2 notes to connect. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks

Ex. : If a B natural follows a Bb, no tie will show at the beginning of the second system. And both notes should be in the same layer.
