I am using Finale 2004b, Panther, G5. I used the percussion clef which defaults to letter "D" as a metatool in a file. It displays fine on screen, but the clef doesn't show-up in printouts or exported PDFs. Any idea what the problem may be?
Thanks, Daniel | Back to Top | |

Just noticed a typo in my previous post.
Please replace the word "interpolation" with "interpolating".

If you change the font for the clef to Maestro I think it will print correctly; however the clef in that slot looks completely different in Maestro. Instead of a box, it is two bars, like a pause button.

From what you said, I gather you had the same problem in your computer, right? That would mean that there is indeed a problem with the Petrucci font (at least with that particular symbol), and not a problem with my computer's setup, as I had suspected.
I'll let Coda Tech know about it.

In Maestro the clef that looks like a pause button is option-n, a
If I type that in TextEdit and change the font to Maestro I get the correct symbol but if I change it to Petrucci I get no change.
