F 2014.5 on MacBook Pro (El Capitan).
Attached is a file showing the key signature BEFORE the bar line at Letter D. Other key signature changes are normal.
Anybody with a solution?
Thanks.

As far As I Can Tell, the key signature at letter D is displayed AFTER the barline, both on the computer screen and in print.

However, the repeat bar is displayed after the key signature (= not on the barline, but rather at the beginning of the measure’s music).
Having the repeat bar at the beginning of the music is quite common, and I do not see it as a problem.

Do you need the repeat bar to be positioned on the barline?

Peter

Thanks for your quick reply. Obviously it's all OK on your computer but not on mine. I have attached a screen shot of mine.
Interesting?

Do you want to get rid of the barline before the key change? If so, use the measure tool and set it to invisible.

I think that you forgot to attach your screen shot.

Your screen shows what I - and Zuill - see at letter D:

First comes the barline.
The key signature comes AFTER the barline.
The repeat bar is positioned AFTER the key signature = at the beginning of the measure’s music.

Having the repeat bar at the beginning of the music is quite common, and I do not see it as a problem.

Do you instead need the repeat bar to be moved to the left, to be positioned on the barline?

Peter

I think because it is a repeat bar line, I have to have the key change before the repeat sign.
OK....i can live with that.
However, I would prefer to have the bar line before the Bb removed (answered above).

Thanks guys...as always.

You can hide the barline by choosing “invisible” right barline for the measure before the key change.

This “invisible right barline” trick is done in the Measure Attributes:
Measure Tool, double-click the measure.
