Does anyone have any ideas how to reproduce the slurs used in French Baroque unmeasured préludes? The slurs are very complex and contain swirls and loops. For example those in Louis Couperin's Pièce de Clavecin as typeset by Heugel in their le pupitre series. I would like to have a go at composing some 21st century préludes in a similar style by with more contempory harmonies. To do this the slurs will need to be reproduced.
On a separate topic, I quite like the publications from the Centre de Musique Baroque de Versailles. Does anyone have any templates that is close to theirs? Or any comments on their engraving?
Many thanks,
Paul Pentland.
