Hi,

Running Finale 2012c for Windows. I'd like to be able to export wind solos with piano accompaniment as .mid files, but have the two piano staves come over on separate tracks for importing into the other software (Home Concert Xtreme). As it is now, the grand staff exports as one track, and therefore gets imported as one staff. It seems like it'd be easier to import as two tracks than to figure out how to manually pull them apart and fight with ever-moving split points. Can I easily split the staves into separate tracks or channels?

I'm sure there's a relatively easy answer, but I've not stumbled across it yet. Thanks for any help!

Put each staff on a separate MIDI channel. This will likely require use of duplicate (hidden) dynamics on the lower staff.
