G'day,

I've finally worked out why my Finale Help buttons/files won't work/open when I'm not 'on line'. It appears Google Chrome, my default browser, won't open the help files unless you're actually on line (and have checked the necessary box in Preferences). Does anyone have a suggestion re: getting Google Chrome to recognise Finale Help Files through the actual program when you're not on line? I'm using Finale 2011b with Windows XP.

As always, it's a fantastic program and I love using it. This is a small problem, but it bugs me.

I don't use Google Chrome but I have it on my computer. This works for me........
Navigate to the help files folder an right click a file and then "open with" Google Chrome.

Are you using Google Chrome by choice? If not, you might be better off with IE8.
