I own the old stand alone modular system and many cartridges, some of which have good orchestral accompaniments.  Smart Music 5.1 is the last software that works with the module, but is not too happy running under WinXP.  Any suggestions?

You might try running the old version of SmartMusic on Windows XP in compatibility mode; right-click on the application itself (not the shortcut) and choose Properties. Click the Compatibility tab, enable Compatibility Mode, and set it to Windows 98/ME.
