Just trying the Demo of Finale 25.
I've been using the font Copperplate Gothic Bold[that's what it's called] as the heading font on my files, and on Finale 2012 it can be made bold again, which is what I've been doing.
But on Finale 25 there is no setting to make it bold, so when I open one of my files, the heading title is thinner.
Is there any way to put the font from 2012 into 25. I've looked in the font folders but there's a lot more fonts available than there are .fan files, and there's no listing for Copperplate Gothic Bold.
I've also noticed that printing from Finale 25, the whole thing prints slightly higher on the page, so where it was fine in 2012, it now sometimes cuts off the top of the title.

Do you only have one font file for this typeface? If you didn't have the relevant style font, previous versions of Finale would slant type to make faux-Italics and over-stroke the lines to make faux-Bold -- a practice from the 1980s which is very unsound.
Furthermore, Finale use to have a bug whereby even if you had the real Italic and Bold fonts, it would still apply the "faux" technique to those faces when you selected the style.

It sounds like you've been making a virtue of Finale's problems. However, because the problems have existing for so long, many people have legacy documents that now need adjusting.

Go to Font Book.app and check to see what is installed. I have five Copperplate fonts installed—three in one family, the one you are using and a light version. Make sure you are using the one that you want.

Thanks Wiggy and Mike.
In the font book there's no bold for Copperplate Gothic Bold.
I think I'll just use the plain one or find another font that I like.
Authorised Finale 25 today, so I'll be using it for new music from now on.

If this is a font you like and is part of your "house style", it might be worth purchasing a current version by a reputable font maker. That way, it's highly likely that it will be compatible with the latest Mac OS and Finale versions.

Here is your font for $29 - note there is a free trial so you can test for any possible problems:
