This might be especially evident in the case of some string section sounds that take a long time to start. Such patches often have names such as "slow strings" or something similar.
Slow your tempo down to quarter=30 and see if all the 16ths sound fully. Jim Williams--Indianapolis Brass Choir N9EJR

It was 14 - 8th notes. No, it does not happen with any other meter. (but then again, I only just got this app a few weeks ago. Haven't had time to play with anything but 3/4 and 4/4 in this program)
It sounds like the system is playing back notes in groups of two. The first note a stutter, the second fully formed. (In regards to "slow strings" I have to admit though. I'm near having a brain aneurysm trying to get GPO/Finale to sound a proper stabbing staccato with the strings, but that's for another thread.)
And a new symptom (or fix). I switched off the "Click and Count-off" which I was using as a metronome during playback. Now everything sounds fine. Turned it on again and the off beat returns. It doesn't look as if the settings for this feature should effect the way notes sound off. Maybe its my system... | Back to Top | |

Thanks for the help though. | Back to Top | | Forum Information | Currently it is Tuesday, December 19, 2023 7:26 PM (GMT -6) There are a total of 403,820 posts in 58,165 threads. In the last 3 days there were 0 new threads and 0 reply posts. View Active Threads
