I've looked in the Manual and can't find anything on why the Special Tool Palette keeps disappearing on me. I keep going to the windows to click it back on but, as soon as I use it and go to something else, it goes off. Very irritating. Does this this happen some you out there? Any help would be appreciated very much. Thanks.

I know what you mean; I keep the Special Tools and Smart Shape palettes floating around the screen because I find it easier to directly click the item I want than to click the tool icon and then the palette. Anyway...
Go to Options> Program Options and uncheck "Close subsidiary palettes when leaving tool." That should do it.

I believe this is checked by default when you install. (This is always one of the first changes I make when installing.)
