Hi happy Finalescripters!

Just to emphasize that Finale 2011 "a" does include a good number of fixes and improvements:

* The Close and Save button in the script Editor is now consistent between Mac and Windows.
* The Batch Process folder can now be changed.
* Finale will no longer crash on launch if FileVault is enabled (Found in System Preferences in the Security Pane of OS 10.5 and 10.6).
* The keyword "near" now functions consistently.
* Finalescript's Text Search and Replace feature now behaves like Finale's Text Search and Replace feature (only changing the specified type of text).

Cheers,
Robert P.

Hi Robert,
Finale 2011a r5
I am only just now seeing this behavior. Calling a script using key commands or the menu, will complete a sequence by opening the palette. Is there a way to supress this behavior? I've not been able to find it despite selecting the option "Don't show palette..."

Thanks,
Rick

Robert,
Finale 2011a r6
The problem just got worse for me after updating to r6. Now the palette not only appears but it becomes completely disabled except for the close button.

Maybe I'm missing something? Which is the final version number for FS?
Rick

Robert P., would you consider a fermata preferences interpretation option for a value in percentage of the _current_ tempo, which is dependent on the Time Signature? For example, I have tended to prefer fermata tempo interpretations to be at 50% of the current tempo when appied to note values of the same as the T/S denonimator, e.g. 1/4 for any/4, but at 25% if the note value is less that that, such as 1/8 or 1/16. Likewise, if the TS is any/8 then a fermata on an 1/8 should be at 50%, but at 25% when placed on a 1/16 or less. Also, a return to the current tempo should return _immediately_ after the note to which the fermata is applied.

Jonathan,
Check your version of the Finalescript.bundle

Since I updated to version 2.2.1.5 I have no longer experienced this issue. Good luck.
