There might be several ways. In Document Options/Spacing, you might choose the option to Clear Manual Positioning, then apply spacing in the document. Also, Edit/Clear Selected Items. Choose Special Alterations.

Cut and Paste the selection using the Selection Filter, with "Special Alterations" deselected. EDIT: Or indeed, Clear Selected Items, as Zuill has pointed out.

No. Only the selected measures. I could also accomplish the re-positioning of notes with the JW Change plugin. However, although there is a tool to clear beam adjustments, it seems not to work. Hmm.

If you do change the Document Options setting to Clear, after the selected measures are respaced to default, then you might want to change it back to Ignore or Incorporate, lest you undo measures that don't need the fix.
