Date Joined Sep 2007 Total Posts : 2290 | Posted 11/16/2016 9:05 AM (GMT -6) | | This sounds like the famous Dancing Articulations bug. Generally, the articulation in this case does NOT show up properly while being dragged, but DOES show up in the proper position after hitting cmd-D to redraw.
It apparently is linked to staff reduction and multiple layers (which I use ALL the time.) Certain articulations with certain positioning settings seem to be affected more than others, like fermatas, caesuras, breath commas, etc., and now parentheses. Christopher Smith

Shnootre said...Zuill - can you recommend one? Peter - that's what I'm trying to do. The default positioning looks great initially, but anything that causes a redraw makes the correct positioning get lost.
If I can see a sample of the look you want, then I can probably make a recommendation.
