When you say "C drive" do you mean you're looking in "C:\Program Files (x86)"? Finale 25 is a 64bit program, so (assuming Win10 uses the same structure as Win7) should be installed in "C:\Program Files" by default.

and the folder is simply called "Finale". There's no "25" associated with it :)

I'm curious where the next version of finale will be installed. Is the plan that from now on, every new version of Finale over-writes previous versions of its 64 bit format?

Finale (started with ver. 3.0) using 2012 (2014 has been shelved for its lack of support for older Garritan libraries) under Windows 8.1
basically ALL Garritan libraries, plus XSample Chamber Ensemble.

It makes you wonder if this is their intention, or whether they never even considered the possibility users might want to keep their standing installation.

Does the installation allow you to name the folder something else?

Maybe they are following Microsoft's example. You can't keep different versions of Word or Excel on your system (well, maybe it is possible, but it is not easy), and patches can be installed automatically. I don't know--just guessing.

If Finale worked like Word, you wouldn't need several versions at the same time. :-)
