Howdy. I'm working on a bass tab file in 12/8 and noticed that on all notes longer than dotted quarter notes, and all rests, augmentation dots are much further from the note than they should be. I have the distance set to my normal 0.06944 in document options, and the dots look fine when they're attached to 1/4 and 1/8 notes.

If I recall Correctly, this is a known issue which has been discussed here in the forum.

You should contact Tech Support, and request a fix in the next Finale version.

By The Way:
For whole notes and halves I would add a circle around the TAB numbers.
See the attached document where I have added a circle around the dotted whole note in measure 22.

Ah, thanks for the info. No biggie, I guess.

And thanks for the circle idea! That's way better than my solution, which is to put a half/whole/etc note in parentheses below the note.
