 | Posted 10/12/2002 4:37 AM (GMT -6) | | | | I'd like to use ghosted notes or standard note heads in parenthesis. I'm thinking that they would be found as note heads, but they are not there. How can I do this in Finale?
 Thanks

If you use the Jazz Band template you can use the articulation tool to add brackets (no. 36)

I usually change the ghosted notes to an "x" notehead without brackets. I haven't had any complaints yet.

Jim, I've been using the X, but I always think that an X note is a cracked or split note.

 Thanks again,
