They worked perfectly in 2012, but now they don't - and afterwards the script palette screen remains greyed out and .......... stuck (and I have to quit Finale). Has anyone experienced problems with scripts in 2014? Any solutions? Can someone check if Move/Copy Layers works correctly in 2014? (it doesn't seem to work here ...)
PS: I checked the move/copy layer function by itself (from the right-click menu) and it works just fine. It seems this script gets stuck at the Move command in it, so I'd say its definitely a script issue in 2014. Also checked it again in 2012 (on the new WIN 8 computer, and there it works perfectly). I cannot find documented where Finalescript will interpret "Move-Copy" as "Move/Copy...", where the "-" substitutes for the "/", and where you can leave off the trailing "...". It does apparently work, however.
Another workaround is to use the documented solution of "Edit/Move*", where you use the "*" to truncate long menu names. Here you are truncating everything past and including the "/". The "/" in the menu item must be causing the Finalescript to fail now in F2014, but not in F2012.
It is best to specify the exact menu item path with "Edit/Move*", since there are other menu items that begin with "Move". It is not necessary in this case, probably since the first menu item that starts with "Move" is the one you want.
Also, it seems that "\" will work as a delimiter as well as the "/".
