I'm trying to rename staves in several files. I've managed to create a Finalescript that opens Score Manager, clicks "Soprano Voice" (e.g.), clicks "Full Name" which then opens the window where the new name will be typed. After finding a tip in the forum, I also discovered that the command "type raw" will type what you want in the text box (if you omit the word "raw" it won't work). Example, the command:

type raw "SOPRANO"

will type (in all caps) the word SOPRANO in the text box.

Where I'm having trouble is getting the script to delete what's in the text box before "SOPRANO" is typed and getting it to change the font style and size.

On this forum I've noted that Score Manager is often incompatible with Finalescript so before I tried seven hundred other variations I thought I thought I'd seek the wisdom here. I've already posted on the Finalescript forum but no answer yet.

Many thanks!
Don

This was meant to be posted on the Windows forum. I'd delete it but don't see how to do so. My apologies.
