When I then tried to then play the full score, only that part now plays.
I checked the score manager and no "solos" or "mutes" are on. That is the only thing I did: extracted that one part. The full score now only *plays* that one part.
I even went to a second machine, shared the full score over and tried to play it *there,* still, only the one extracted voice plays | Back to Top

It appears that I can work-around by changing the "Sound" used in the Score Manager panel.
By changing each one out-and-back, it seems to reactivate them.

What a delight. | Back to Top

As long as you're extracting (which I generally don't do any more), the extracted part is not linked anymore. Every time you want to extract, just resave the file as an independent file, extract, and then return to the original score for further work and playback.

I am only extracting because I have a visually-impaired student that needs the music in Braille form.
Once I create a score, I extract her part to separate it from the score entirely, then I get .XML from that single part, send it off to our VI department and they have software and a printer to convert the .XML to Braille. | Back to Top
