I have several text fonts that will not activate in Finale. They used to, and it seems like the problem is getting worse. Both TrueType and openType (these fonts are used for some of my client's titles). I attached one font that isn't working. They all work in other programs. I have already tried the following: open font in FontBook open font in Font Explorer Restart Finale Log out and log back in Reboot computer Shut down and restart computer Clean font caches with Onyx, shut down and restart
No change. Does Finale hide a font cache somewhere Onyx can't find it? That used to be the case with Quark Xpress. Help is most welcome. My workaround is to turn each non-cooperative font into a graphic in Illustrator. It works but its a 10 minute detour every time I need to do it.
Hi,
the font really invokes some problems even when I tried to install it. Well, I correct it and generated a new TTFontSuitcase version. Now it works OK – please, find the attached PDF file.
Unfortunately, the attach manager does not allow to upload the corrected font, however you can go to this link on "wetransfer" and download it. http://we.tl/ELiMsOAkdn

I have generated numbers of fonts with it and on Mac is OK. For OTF for use on PC and MAC one must utilise the PC version, because there are some issues when font has been generated via Mac version. Actually, I don't care much about it, because I do not use PC most of the time. Just for some test.
