I have no problems with the other fields in the list, (Title, subtitle, arranger, etc.) This problem has been in Finale 2011 and 2012b for Windows, at least. I can't remember if it was also in 2008 for Windows. I just need to add it separately after the document is created. I thought it might be fixed in the new version, but it doesn't seem to be. | Back to Top

P.S.: I think I know what's happening. Just because you enter something in that place in the Wizard does not mean it will be in the score. You still need to enter the Lyricist placeholder, as the default document doesn't enter the placeholder for you. Create a Text Block and use the menu item Insert, and choose Lyricist. Position the block where you want it. The information will show up where the Lyricist placeholder is selected. "When all is said and done, more is said than done."
Finale 2002b, 2003a, 2004b, 2005b, Win XP SP3, 2011b Win 7 64bit, 2012a Bought and Paid For (Hopefully soon 2012b with some of the MAJOR BUGS fixed--well, now with 2012b and some of the bugs are fixed)

I will try your suggestions, though, and see if I can get that to work. I appreciate your help! | Back to Top

When I was working, I was known as their "singing chemist". | Back to Top | | Forum Information | Currently it is Tuesday, December 19, 2023 8:15 PM (GMT -6) There are a total of 403,820 posts in 58,165 threads.
