I've had to use another computer w 2014.5 while my Sierra w F25 is destroyed with the Tool Palette bug. Did the upgrade fix this for anyone?

They want me to pay $149 to update my 2014.5
I have 2014.5.7098.
The update is 2014.5 2500.0.0.7722
If the new version is F25, why do they couch it in an updated 2014.5?
They made it seem like this is a free upgrade, but they say it is "available"....
Yea, it's available for $149 !!!#$%^&*
Can you explain to me, Wiggy? I feel dumb...

Does Wiggy work for MakeMusic?

Hmmm... Finale used to have a paid upgrade every year. With 2014 then 25 it went to every other year.

You can get the upgrade from GuitarCenter.com for $119. I don't know if any of their sale coupons apply. Other resellers have similar pricing.

If you upgrade via a reseller, use FireFox to register and download. Safari probably works but I didn't try it. Chrome didn't work for me.

Jazzer,
F25 is a completely "new" program, hence the upgrade fee. 2014 to 2014.5 was an update, and free.

I have no idea why 25 shows up as 2014.xxx, but a number of people have commented on it. It is a new program, though.

thanks, Mike.
Yes, it's confusing.
And not only that, but my older 2014.5.7098 version is ruined with the tool palette bug because I updated to Sierra.
I guess there will not be a bug fix to 2014.5 anymore. It's been several months.

As far as I know, the software that flags the update gets the version numbers wrong. This probably caused by the fact that 2014 is a larger number than 25.
