Hi Everyone --
when I extract parts from a score that contains cautionary accidentals, I'm finding that they disappear occasionally. This is an enormous pain... anyone know why? I've looked through all the part extraction options and don't see any settings that would account for this.
Thanks.
Jeffery
btw -- my latest score in Finale is 151 pages! A ballet suite, being premiered in Boston on April 20. Anyone want free tickets, let me know.

Make sure that 'Discard Random Cautionary Accidentals When Extracting Parts' is unchecked.

I don't see this option. Where is it?
(There's no reference to it in the docs either.)

A joke response, I presume.
I don't know why they are disappearing. I put a number of courtesy accidentals into my scores, and as far as I can recall, they are properly copied to the extracted parts. I use the shift/star in speedy entry to put in the courtesy accidentals.
btw. Congratulations on the ballet suite! And congrats on putting together a 151 page manuscript. Must have been a lot of work.

Yes, I realized too late that someone was being clever. (?)
And thanks -- yes, it was monstrous (the parts are over 30 pages each). I was fortunate to have 5 weeks at the MacDowell Colony in Feb/March -- could never have gotten through this otherwise!
