| I give my students various assignments on SmartMusic that have a "due date" but I let them "retake" them as many times as they'd like before the concert. My goal is mastery of the material, not necessarily a "do you have it by this date?" type of approach.
So far, I've been copying the SmartMusic grades in my gradebook, and just reassigning the assignment to every student that received lower than a B. It's worked fine, but students sometimes have trouble knowing which assignments they've submitted already and which were just reassigned sometimes.
Is there any way to set up the SmartMusic assignment to let students submit multiple times? Maybe their assignment list would show the assignment, with the score next to it for what was submitted, and they can keep retaking it until they're satisfied with the grade?
It's a little hard to explain so I hope this isn't too confusing. |
